Our good friends at Hewlett Packard are back! Or rather, they WILL be back to sponsor a lunch planned for October 6th!

Every time they do something great like this it's always a treat, so please come by and join us for this special lunch. HP has been a tremendous partner to the Center over the years, helping with numerous projects with materials and labor support. They love our Veterans!

James Newton Rounsavell was the Founder of Veterans Golf Park for Disabled Vets, dba Veterans Community Center. Jim was a life long golfer and began to realize that golf could help disabled vets with PTSD and TBI, two very degrading but all too common syndromes that affect our Vets.

Several years ago the charity got a heads up on the sale of the former Citrus Heights Community Center on Sylvan Road, and was able to acquire the property. It has become the center of focus and attention for the Veterans here and that tradition continues with Jim's wife Jeanne after his passing.
