Fall Yard Sale Date Announced!

Our annual Yard Sale fundraiser has been set for October 2nd and 3rd from 8am to 4pm. We are now accepting donations! As you know if you have attended our sales in the past, there are a great variety of goods available from home goods and décor, to Holiday items, to clothes, housewares and much more! Bargains all, and 100% supports our operating expenses and programs for Veterans in our community. We have great new Military hats and tees as well!

James Newton Rounsavell was the Founder of Veterans Golf Park for Disabled Vets, dba Veterans Community Center. Jim was a life long golfer and began to realize that golf could help disabled vets with PTSD and TBI, two very degrading but all too common syndromes that affect our Vets.

Several years ago the charity got a heads up on the sale of the former Citrus Heights Community Center on Sylvan Road, and was able to acquire the property. It has become the center of focus and attention for the Veterans here and that tradition continues with Jim's wife Jeanne after his passing.
