Announcing a key event for our area Veterans. From September 30 to October 2nd, we are announcing the Sacramento Stand Down Event. This organization has been serving Veterans since 1992. They offer a wide variety of service to assist Veterans in need in our area and we are here to support their efforts. Please note the details on the flyer below and make plans to attend this helpful event in the Greater Sacramento Area this year!

Due to the recent passing of our co-founder Jeanne Pulley (Rounsavell), we will be cancelling our planned Luau Fundraiser. In addition, the Center will be closed this week (Aug 11-15). We will reopen next Monday, August 18th.
Thank you for your ongoing support of the Center, and we look forward to serving our Veterans as we move ahead. August is a HOT month, and so it only fits that our hottest event of the year, our 5th Annual Hawaiian Luau Fundraiser Event is this month! Don't miss this, it's a ton of fun and food is tremendous too!

About VCCJames Newton Rounsavell was the Founder of Veterans Golf Park for Disabled Vets, dba Veterans Community Center. Jim was a life long golfer and began to realize that golf could help disabled vets with PTSD and TBI, two very degrading but all too common syndromes that affect our Vets. Archives
